I was asked to help out with GOOD’s most recent issue, The GOOD 100. The issue is a “collection of the most important, exciting, and innovative people, ideas, and projects making our world better.” Each of the 100 or so good things were illustrated with cut paper models, of which I contributed a few:

Finding a Better Way to Fight (the war on drugs). I spotted some silver paper and couldn’t resist making a big 3d razor blade with an illicit substance.

Here Comes the (Chinese) Sun – This is about the solar power revolution happening in China. Unlike their Chinese counterparts, my solar panels could power your Walkman for about 30 seconds.

The Bottled-water Boycott – Bottled water is bad for the environment. I sat down with a tall glass of Los Angeles tap and before I knew it the paper was flowing.
I can’t go any further with out saying something about all the other paper-cutters who made an incredible little world in a matter of days. Pick up a copy of GOOD to see all the other amazing paper constructions by these talented folks:
